API Tenza™ is Europe’s leading producer of self-adhesive products for the packaging and stationery industries. The company was founded during the 1960’s as an embossing tape manufacturer and is now a leading European specialist manufacturer of self-adhesive products.
The company was acquired by the API Group in 1986 and is now a part of its Converted Products Division.
API Tenza™ is based in Saxmundham, Suffolk, in the UK, where it employs 130 people in its integrated manufacturing and R&D facility. The company exports around 50 per cent of its output to more than 60 countries all over the world through a variety of channels, including direct sales, distributors and agents. Its sales turnover for 2003 was approximately 20 million. It prides itself on its customer service, with a multi-lingual team, fluent in six major languages.
API Tenza’s™ products fall into three main categories; Packing List Envelopes (PLE’s), Laminates and Book Covering Films (BCF).
PLEs: The Tenzalope™ is API Tenza’s™ best-known product within its Packing List Envelopes range. All the PLE’s are designed and produced on-site. API Tenza™ markets a complete range of plain, printed and bespoke bags in all popular ISO sizes.
Laminates: A full range of self-adhesive laminates for label manufacturing, featuring a comprehensive range of face materials, adhesives and release papers.
BCF: Book-covering film, specially designed to meet the needs of the school, home and library markets. API Tenza’s™ range of clear, tinted, opaque, holographic and printed films is sold worldwide. The Cover Clear™ brand is identified with high quality and performance and is available in a variety of gauges and adhesive levels.
All of API Tenza’s™ products come with a quality assurance certification, including ISO EN9001:2000
